There will be many activities and fun for the whole family, including vendor tables and a silent auction. 100% of the proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society via Relay for Life.

On the third Sunday of each month, a bunch of people get together and each pay $5 to enjoy some soup (and other delicious food) and listen to presentations about projects that people would like to start. Then they vote on which project gets to take home the funding.

Ready for the Rib Burn Out Feb. 4? Dino’s is.

Here’s how it works: People go to the big tent set up in the parking lot between Dino’s and the Library, pay $10, and sample ribs from eight different teams. Then they vote on which they like the best. The money raised goes to support the Michigan AIDS Coalition and the Ferndale Youth Assistance. The Burn Out takes place Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 starting at noon and rocking on past sunset.
