On Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 6:00 p.m., The Ferndale High School and Ferndale Middle School Jazz Bands will be performing in a special “Grand Finale” concert at The Gerry Kulick Center, 1201 Livernois, Ferndale, Michigan!
These two bands, under the direction of Tim Burke, were invited to play at The Kulick Center by the Ferndale Seniors Group. It is sure to be a great concert for all ages!
This will be the last concert of this year’s Bud Light’s Ferndale Blues & Music Festival. There is no admission fee for the concert but please help support Ferndale Youth Assistance and Michigan Aids Coalition by “feeding the pig” piggybank during the show! Snacks will be sold by the Ferndale Seniors Group.
The 12th Annual Bud Light Ferndale Blues Festival is running 10 days, in three cities, at 27 venues, featuring over 75 concerts. All proceeds benefit the two local charities.
“We wanted music to bring the generations together”, said Jeannie Davis, President of the Ferndale seniors. “ Music is a common language that we all share,” she added.
