The 2013 Ferndale School Board was sworn in on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013.  Four newly elected officials took their seats at the big tables in front of a packed room of family, campaign volunteers, and other supporters.

Newcomer Jim O’Donnell was voted President of the Board by his fellow members. He was sworn in by Ferndale Mayor Dave Couter.

The other officers are the three experienced Board Members.  Karen Twomey was selected bubble_and_bark_ad_ferndale115Vice President.  Chuck Moeser was selected Treasurer.  And Nan Kerr-Mueller was selected Treasurer.

Coulter also administered the Oath of Office to newcomer Kevin Deegan-Krause.  Royal Oak Township Supervisor Donna Squalls administered the Oath to newcomer Raylon Leaks-May.  Pleasant Ridge Mayor Ralph Castelli did the same for newcomer Amy Butters.
