Wire Down at 9 and Hilton, 1713 Without Power

(Crystal A. Proxmire, The Ferndale 115 News, 01/17/2012)

DTE Crews are on the scene at E. 9 Mile and Hilton where a downed wire has knocked out power to approximately 1713 customers. Crews are working quickly to get power turned back on as quickly as possible, but an official estimate has not been obtained.

Update:  According to Dolly’s Pizza owner Edward Cash, power has been restored and they are back open and ready to sell some pizzas!  Call them at 248 584 3333 to order yours!

Editor’s Note (thanks for the update Ed!)

You can find out more, and view a current outage map at the DTE website – www.dteenergy.com.
