Lots to Learn at Live Green Fair

(Brita Brookes, 7/17/2011)

The weather was sunny and hot on Saturday, but there were many information booths showing you the way to keep cool and take care of the planet at the same time at the Ferndale Live Green Fair.

From rain water collectors, solar power, water cooling air conditioner systems, energy audits for your home, garden furniture and accessories, beeswax products and tarot card readings or a massage- the Ferndale Live Green Fair had many ways to make you, your family and our planet feel and live better.

There were test drives of new Chevy Volt and new Sonic, and more stuff- rainwater collectors, chemical free lawn care, chemical-free home products, bee’s wax products, energy audits for your home, solar power info, air conditioning info, tarot card readings, organic teas and coffees, artworks, woodwork jewelry, Ferndale Green Cruise, Sierra Club booth, DTE and Consumers Energy info and more.
