It's that time of year again! This Saturday, May 12th, Claddagh Chiropractic is having their third annual Spring Into Health Festival from 10am to 1pm. There will be many activities and fun for the whole family, including vendor tables and a silent auction. 100% of the proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society via Relay for Life.

Ferndale Pride is setting a jovial pace for Father's Day weekend activities. Not only will there be Ferndale Pride Market Daze, the Annual Dyke March, a balloon launch (with biodegradable balloons) and a new Light the Night event, there will also be the messiest and perhaps the merriest event of all: The Rainbow Run.

Friends of the Ferndale Library and The Society of Sant Jordi invite the public to enjoy a full day of cultural festivities. Admission is $5 and includes a complimentary rose and used book from the Friends of Ferndale Library bookstore. Kids 12 and under are free. Proceeds from the event will go directly to the Library for community programs.

Planning is still in the works, and new ideas are most welcome. Some of the choices so far include flower planting at Grant and Ferndale Middle School, grounds cleaning at Coolidge, trash pickup on 8 Mile, Hilton, Woodward and Livernois, and helping to clean up a County-owned vacant property.
